Thank you both. Just to make sure I understand correctly - the positive post on the Mini sticks out further at the bottom(510 end) than the big Nova, are you saying just to push that in? Should it be flush?

I had the same problem - caused by overscrewing into the pack. I now get it to charge (usb charger only - doesn't work in pack anymore) by screwing in til contact is made then gently pulin back (as if I were going to pull battery out without unscrewing), contary to what you would expect this...
