I too live in a place that has no signal and have Verizon, I went on Ebay and found a 3g Wilson Signalboost kit ( I have a very old iPhone 4!) and installed it on my roof!

We too have some big great grey owls that sadly stock my little russel terrier( under17lbs!), as well as the hawks, and one day I had an eagle land and take a look at her! I thought we had a small plane land! They are very big! But I can not help but love them all! I just won't let her out...
We too only go there before or after the "season"!( We have dogs!) Sounds like it has changed a lot! We need to put on the list this year! We also get a lot of visitors here too, not as many as the beach I am sure, but have found its easier to do our shopping during the week to avoid the crowds...

Nancy, these pictures are wonderful! You and David have a lot of "crafty talent". You also seem to spread joy wherever you go! I think I spent at least an hour looking at your travels! I hope to one day also be able to see this country and others.

I agree with you there Jodie about the scaly and for me the squiggly things! I do live in the opposite side of the state so kinda in the shadow of the mountains and a lot of my neighbors are black bears, they don't bother us we don't bother them! Occasionally see them fall out of a tree when...
