Obviously we don't have the regs to read yet but the article I read said that the products must be approved by the FDA if they make health claims. If that's true then it could be as simple as it has been in the past and sellers not making claims do not have to submit for approval. I expect the...
Wow, these threads still popping up. I have lots of gear around here from the mechanical devices I use all the time to the VV/VW devices I have. I've never had one of them fail. Some of China mods some are US/Europe. The only things I've had fail were some of my original dripper heads that...
I have a Smok Magneto and it is wonderful for the price. I should have a Super-T ELA one of these days but I'm sure the wait will be worth it. Another post here hit the nail on the head too. You sorta need to know what you want out of a mech before you start shopping.
Do you want a flat top...
The Magneto looks good to me. It has my interested enough to order one. I enjoy my Natural and if they have used improved contacts like brass then this could be great out of the box.
Hope to have it in by end of July. It will probably beat my ELA getting here.
I believe that David is dead on with his plan. The ELA has been the only device that I've been willing to even pre-order much less sit like a hawk with an F5 key to hope for a chance to buy someones work. I can't tell you how many times I've seen some equipment in a vape meet or an online...
I agree that patents won't stop copying of anything. It will make it difficult and risky for any vendor to sell infringing devices in the U.S. though.
I would also agree that any copy will be spotted a mile away due to quality.
I am excited with you folks. I used to work on industrial robotics and worked in machine shops all over the world. I think that great machine work and craftsmanship are art. Watching the videos of these being made and the photos shows the extraordinary craftsmanship put into the product...
I have browsed over and would have ordered an AC9 at least 3 times but they were not in stock. I have ordered an RSST and may eventually order an AC9 as well.
While I have a bit of disdain for clones I welcome the competition. As I see it, the primary loss of sales for many original makers...
Yup, a drill bit will not cut another drill bit if both are the same type which is typically tool steel.
A carbide bit might do it but the way I usually take care of such things is with a punch and hammer. That will typically either knock it out or shatter it and either way it will be out of...
Happy B'day to me. I got to order my ELA today! I have followed the SuperT stuff for so long and had to wait and want. Now I've moved forward to the part where I've ordered and want. I am so looking forward to it.
Sexy,
Everyone is lost at first. The best thing I've found and highly recommend is to try to find a mentor that is near you.
If you can find a local vaper meet then even better. Getting started is overwhelming and I was lucky enough to have had a mentor guide me in my first week or so.
To summarize altron3030, I don't think anyone is really interested in directly answering your question. There are 17 pages of some same-ol folks fighting and that's about what I expected.
I don't think anyone can really theorize what the company may do. It seems they may have mentioned...
For the Provari it is normal that it fires when going through menu items. If you are changing heads you should be mindful of this and always be sure to lower the settings before starting up a new head. Otherwise you risk firing a head and the voltage could be way too high and pop the coil.
I would say the VAMO is as good as it gets in its price range (40-50USD). If you go up to 50-100 then there are lots more options. If you go above that then things change some more.
It is due to PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) in the circuitry of your device. The APV is leaking radio noise (radiation) and your phone is picking it up under the right circumstances. The power circuits in regulated APVs aren't shielded other than the APV body. PWM devices output an on/off...
