    Illinois?

Western Illinois here, Quincy, I'd definitely be interested in a vape meet around the Springfield/Peoria area.

    And along comes the I-Chybrid

Oh, by the way, I did fully disassemble the thing and it is a true hybrid. The portion where the atomizer is attached to the tube is press fit, and it may be glued or some such because I couldn't budge it. I did see the markings on the inside of the tube to grip it though, same as any other...

    And along comes the I-Chybrid

Hey Karla, I think the general consensus is that it is a pretty cheap device, but with a little tinkering you can get it going very well. If 40 dollars is no biggie to you, go for it, but I think we all feel that this should be in the 20-30 dollar price range for the quality. Personally, I'm...

    And along comes the I-Chybrid

Mine is slightly cosmetically different, I ordered from 101vapes. Yeah, it's definitely cheap, but the atty is solid when set up proper. Like another poster said, a tube is just a tube; it's all in the atty. The switch definitely leaves something to be desired though. But it's easy enough to...

    And along comes the I-Chybrid

I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures, once I do I'll take some for you guys. As far as the size, I think it looks longer because the switch assembly actually takes up quite a bit of room. The switch alone (not counting the insulator mounted spring that holds the battery in place) is...

    And along comes the I-Chybrid

As far as I can tell, the I-Chybrid is a genuine hybrid. Again, haven't tried much to separate the tube from the bottom portion of the tank, but there definitely isn't room for it to have a 510 connection that's been fused to the battery tube. I'm actually really pretty happy with the atomizer...

    And along comes the I-Chybrid

I'm also curious if the top of the battery compartment, bottom of the tank sections separate. Not willing to try and force it if it's a solid piece. But if anyone else gets one just to take apart, you know, for science, let me know. Edit: Wick hole is 7/64 for those who want to know.

    And along comes the I-Chybrid

It came with the 18350 tube. No battery rattle in the tube. Also, fixed the switch. It's held together by a c-clamp washer on the battery contact end, pulled it off and found two separate springs stacked together to create the resistance on the switch. They were binding together causing my...

    And along comes the I-Chybrid

Alright, got it in the mail today. First impression, well, the thing looks nice. We all know what it is a clone of, and I'd say it looks like a slightly more mass produced version. Second impression, it's a tad longer than I expected, but still pretty compact. Front pocket shouldn't be a...

    And along comes the I-Chybrid

I just ordered the black one. Figured what the hey. Soon as I receive mine I'll post a review. Can't test voltage drop or anything like that, and I'll try to upload pics if someone tells me how! But for the price, hey, why not? Looks nice and compact, and that's really what I care about more...

Is there an 18350 mechanical side by side mod?

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this or not, so moderators feel free to move it to the appropriate forum. So I've been browsing on the internet and came across two rather awesome looking side by side style mechanical APVs, the Hero Hybrid APV and the Zen Sidewinder. Both are...

What makes a MOD a MOD?

I think for a question like this, everyone who answers will have a different response. Personally, I consider a "mod" to be any device with a removable battery. As far as whether a mod constitutes a manual switch or not, I don't think so but they tend to. For example, I have a diablo e-pipe...

    Stainless Steel mesh, Oxide discussion.

Alright, I finally jumped on the non-oxidized bandwagon. Used to run a no-center-hole thick mesh wick oxidized in my AGA-T, and I only ever saw juice darkening a few times. Not sure if it was the oxides or carmelized sugars, but I figured better safe than sorry. I found the mesh MUCH more...

    18350 Mechanical Mod safety questions!!

Nice, that's a pretty nifty simple trick. Have you ever had any issues with shorts or has that been a reliable method? I usually do juice burns and quench in juice, but I'm a little paranoid so I probably spend 40 minutes glowing quenching and juice burning. Plus it's kinda fun, but I like...

    18350 Mechanical Mod safety questions!!

Unoxidized? How do you not get shorts nonstop? The SS is conductive, if I don't oxidize properly (or just straight insulate, like with the cigarette paper trick) the coil snaps instantly, if the mod even fires to begin with.

    18350 Mechanical Mod safety questions!!

Hello fellow vapers! So, I ordered myself one of those king e-pipes, apparently it's a fully mechanical mod that takes the 18350, and I had a few questions. I have a little experience with genesis RBAs and some variable voltage stuff, but this will officially be my first mechanical mod. :D I'm...

    E-pipe kit suggestions

Eh, I ended up going with the madvapes Diablo mini 18350 "e-pipe." I put the e-pipe in quotations because while it does vaguely resemble a pipe, once you have the thing in hand it really just kind of looks like an odd pseudo-pipe-like batt mod. Not to say it doesn't feel absolutely divine in...

    Diablo e-Pipe

Quite frankly, the spring in the cap is kinda crap. I'll definitely be replacing it, and I could either get different springs for different battery lengths, or what I'd really rather do is just measure and cut a solid post, do away with the spring entirely. The shining point of the low quality...

    Diablo e-Pipe

Alright, I just picked myself up the mini 18350 version, and all in all I like it. I have a couple things to say about it though, so settle in ladies and gents. First of all, the weight and feel of the thing in the hand really is quite delightful. It just fits, and I find myself gesturing...

    E-pipe kit suggestions

I've been looking at the same one. Unfortunately I can't find any information at all about it, other than it takes 18350, and has an automatic switch. I'm not even sure if it's a 510 connection, or if the carto tank is reusable with any carto of the correct length (and what length carto it...
