I just got up (04:30) so forgive me if this gets woolly :) Flooding that severely shouldn't be a function of the wicks/wicking - it sounds more like the top cap not being tightened down properly before the JC is opened, or if the top cap is tight, then change the top o-ring (the orange one)... -
