The difference is just it's look with atomizer sit on top of them. The flat top seems to look better with atomizer same diameter on top. I don't know about battery run time but when I use 18650 2250mAh in vamo running it 10 watt, I got full day before it need to swap out.

Yep, it's pretty normal, if you get more vapor and flavor then it's a result of burning more juice.
