    Only when you dry-burn. My cotton cleans out just fine with a soak in alcohol. I've also found I really don't feel I need to dry burn so much anymore.

    You can't dry burn cotton. You can, but you'll have a burnt wick that you won't want to vape. So if you want to dry burn your coil to clean it, then you have to rewick.
