Performs identical to the Joyetech line. All the same features.

    Vape Forward Stout thread

I rank the JT higher than the DNA40 due to better/more advanced features, but it's close in smoothness too, even when using Ni200 (for that shrinking group of people that still use Ni200). That wasn't quite the case last summer when the JT board was first released, but the firmware upgrades...

    Vape Forward Stout thread

TC works great..I'd rank Evolv DNA200 as #1, Yihi SX-350J as #2, and Joyetech/Wismec board a very close #3, and a DNA40 as #4, just to put it in perspective. I think Yihi is more accurate than Joyetech, but Joyetech has a smoother, more Evolv-like vape, and a better UI than either Evolv or...

Shorter battery that puts less pressure on the spring would be my first suggestion. Most of the battery door failures I've seen/read about are directly related to using a longer-than-ideal battery in it.

Vapor Flask V3 DNA40 Clone thread

I'd love to see if the new DNA75 board will fit inside, if they release a small screen version. There's a HUGE market for DNA40 "drop in" upgrades, there's a lot of nice high end mods that would get a new lease on life with more wattage and more features, either as a retrofit, or as a way for...

My Waidea flask is still hanging in there, though seeing limited use in the last six months since I dropped Ni200 and don't do Kanthal either. Never did get around to fixing my original Kangxin flask (button glue failure), it's still a ziplock bag of parts.

Noticing a lot less "sag" in the battery meter with 2.36. I'm running a 0.23ohm SS316L dual 26/32 Clapton at 50J/500F/Standard/TCR 0.00092 in a Gemini RTA. With a fresh 30Q or fresh HG2, it would still show sag down to 75% with the old 2.32 firmware when firing, and show almost 100% sag when...

Vapor Flask DNA133 on the way from Vaporshark

If I had to guess, at a minimum about the same as a Vaporshark DNA200, right around $200, and it might even be closer to $300, depends on the materials . Speaking of materials and while I'm guessing, this probably won't be milled aluminum, it'll be a cast zinc alloy, so heavier than a DNA40 or...

Vapor Flask DNA133 on the way from Vaporshark

Not an April Fool's joke. Looks like it's a cross between a VS DNA40 Flask and the Wismec Classic flask (battery panel instead of caps). Easy access to the batteries, and easy to do series compared to the original design. I wonder if the Wismec VF line will be around much longer...

    new gemini rta

First off, it's not a MTL tank, plain and simple. If that's what you were looking for, you chose...poorly. It's designed for 2.5mm/3mm ID Clapton or "exotic" coils, where that extra airflow is desirable. It's total overkill for tiny 2mm dual coils, and part of it being too airy is probably...

    SMOK TF-RTA

@Stinkytofus it's 24.5mm It's Smok's take on the Griffin/Crius/Cthulu V2-type RTA, right down to the screw-on wicking ring. But with more deck options and a slicker top fill and a JFC with an actual stop. Should wick pretty good too. High hopes for this one, and I bet there's a 22mm version...

    My Griffin RTA keeps leaking

Just looking at your most recent pictures, I'd say you don't have enough wick in the channels. I see gaps. Gaps are the enemy.

    new gemini rta

It's close if you just consider the actual vape using the same build. Gemini is better looking, has a couple extra features, a bit more room for longer coils, but gives a lot of juice capacity in the process.

    State of Play

If you really like the TC of the SX, look into an IPV D3. But if you want a more full-featured backup, I'd recommend one of the Joyetech/Wismec lines. If you like the size of the SX Mini, look at the VTC Mini, the Vape Forward Lite, or the Wismec Presa 75TC. If you want more battery capacity...
