Just realized that it is now 1 year that I switched from analog. Along the way I discovered a metric ton of information, made friends and converts and cannot be happier. Vaping is now a hobby. Reading, learning and trying.
I now can mix for myself and friends, use Genesis Atty and enjoy the...
Sorry for so long before replying, I lost track of this thread and was busy.
I think that Extreme Ice is a mix of menthol and a cooling agent such as TPA Koolada IMHO. Or at least this is what I get from it.
I mix Extreme Ice at 7-10% when mixing with fruit flavors (5-10% for fruit)...
I initially started with some TFA flavors from MFS. I have branched to MBV DIY flavors that are made by Flavor West. For smaller quantities (15ml), it is the way to go IMHO because of price and speed of shipping. My daily is extreme ice and have experimented with Extreme Ice and fruits with...
You have a point there about the fact that none actually have been certified yet. What I found interesting in reading their standards is the fact that there could be a standard for the facility in support of the OP question. Other level of standards may be applied that I don't know of, I am a...
Spinfuel looks at the manufacturing facilities of the vendors they review.

There is even an association that defines quality control around mixing up ejuice. But still at this time, you should research and understand where and how ejuice are mixed and...
eVic uses unprotected 18650 with the original battery tube. The eVic itself provides you with the protection you need AFAIK.
Protected batteries would add another 15 mm to the length.
Koolada from TFA is more a neutral agent that provides a "Ice" feeling to the flavor without adding menthol. Extreme Ice (which I use extensively) is a Ice Menthol. To me, it feels like it is a mix of menthol and something similar to Koolada. It can be used by itself, while Koolada to me is...
Still new to this, and I think that I will always learn more.
Mt Baker resale Flavor West. So it should be the same.
I think that you are using too much flavor. Most that I successfully mixed are between 7% and 10% of flavor. But I also experience that the flavor change greatly based on the...
Since your Nic base is 36mg PG, you will not be able to target 50/50 result even if your flavor is 100 VG. The software is telling you that you cannot reach that final ratio since there is already too much PG in the mix. I tried it with 100% VG flavor at 10% and it still overshoot the final...
Why don't you order 15ml to begin with. You will get them within 2-3 days and you can make up your mind fast enough. I have no clue how long James sale will last, but it would be a shame to waste money.
My 2 cents.
Extreme Ice and Lightning are my 2 ADV. Ecto Cooler is also a regular. I started DIY and got my flavor from them also at a great price ($3 for 15 ml) so I can do my own Extreme Ice. But I keep buying Lightning since I can't replicate it yet. Super fast shipping and great...
I have read Hoosier's blog and I am aware that flavor gets away at too high a concentration. I got 15% after multiple attempt so I might be at step 4. Unless TFA flavors are so sensitive that I overshot it, which is maybe a possibility. I am still a newb after all
Sorry I did not reply...
Initially tried without the Menthol and it was missing some of the bite but was still pretty good. I have not tried with koolada that I use for other recipes (fresh without mint) but that could also work. Let me know if you try.
