Trying an Efest IMR 18650 battery and when I checked the atty on my Provari, it reads as 2.4. I'm using the atty that came with it. I tried the battery both with and without the shortstop. I can't believe how hot it got after just pressing the button twice!

Welcome! I started on e-cig look alike 510's...graduated to Ego's (regular and twists), Vamo and now a Provari! Love all my Ego's, Vamo and Provari! I highly recommend starting out small to see what you like and slowly graduating to your perfect vape!
