Update: I built a 5-6 wrap (cant remember) dual parallel coil coming in at .34 ohms. WAY BETTER. I set the airflow setting for one coil, set my Smok m80 on mech mod, and am getting great flavor and clouds. Thank you all for the suggestions!

All I ended of doing was soaking it in hot water, with a bit of dawn for about 15 minutes. Then I picked each piece up, scrubbed it with a q tip, and rinsed the crap out of them with hot water. NO MORE NASTY TASTE! Though it has made me realise I don't get much flavor from this RDA lol.

I don't know about the problem, but I do have a 30w iStick (I got it off of vape nw) that I use as my backup now and it is a great device! The ability to sub-ohm with it is also an added bonus!
