Threads seem fine to me, well machined. But I never feel the need to overtighten, tho. And the only threads on the VTR is for atomizer. BTW, contrary to some youtube review I saw, there's no rattling in the unit I received. Workmanship is superb.

exodus, it's LR, 1.5ohm. Tried unregulated mode, not much diff. I'm beginning to suspect the carto I got is bad. Will get a couple more soon and see.

Doesn't sound like anything related to nicotine level or where it's made, then. Could it be PG vs VG? I've tried various juices from China and US, no diff as far as I can tell.
