I have never had a problem in 2 years exclusively using 100% VG and cotton. It may come down to using higher ohms (not sucking the cotton dry as fast). And using attys that keep the wicks in the juice (protanks, kayfuns, etc.)

I never planned on quitting vaping, but as I've gone down in nic I have naturally lost most of my desire to vape.

I was satisfied with Greensmokes, but the cartridge costs and inconvenient battery life got me to look elsewhere.
2-years later, my vaping has gone down considerably and cig-a-likes start to interest me again.
I had two eGo-twists that I switch hit with. After about 6 months they began to peter out (not holding a charge as long).
Eventually, though, they died because the tops came off and broke the wires inside.
