Does anyone use an air flow controller (smoktek) on their provari? How does it fit/look?

How are the colored finishes on the Provari? Are some better than others? I'm sure they will scratch if dropped or something but are the finishes as durable as the actual device? I'm placing my order tomorrow and I'm trying to decide on the finish.
