RichMan Vapors Rebuildable Atomizer coming soon

I have to say that the locking ring is not doing it for me either. Maybe a knurled ring or something flush with notches in it would be better. Have you considered another hole for a dual wick or U wick set up? At $124.99 this goes up against the iHybrid Pure which is $99.

    Why use RBA's?

I switched because of the flavor you can get out of an RBA. It really depends on how you build your wick and coil. When you set one up right, the flavor, vapor, and throat hit is awesome. The best RBA I've tried so far is the Kayfun 3.1.

Price vs Performance... Is expensive always better?

Price has nothing to do with how enjoyable a vape is. It comes down to build when using RBA's and the design of the RBA itself. I find that I like my IGO-W as much as my Nimbus...and I really am not enjoying my Trident. Some people love the Trident...I'm not a fan so far. I love my Kayfuns...

    Any recommendations on Mechs Mod??

There are quite a few shops that get them in stock in SoCal. SS Chi You should be available soon, Steam Turbine soon, I saw a Kayfun in stock at a store last night, and the Trident is available at a lot of shops. You just have to call around. Nemesis comes in stock regularly, but I heard they...

    Any recommendations on Mechs Mod??

Get a GP Paps 2.5, SS or Lux, and top it with a Kayfun. The 2.5 switch is best switch I've encountered so far. Kayfun is the best atty I've had to date. So good I sold most of my drippers and all my gennies. If you are looking for something flashier, the SS Chi You will be in stores soon.

    B&M - Southern California

My bad, I should specify those of us close to the LA and OC areas. I visited a couple shops in SD, there are a lot less in that area. I have 2 within a 5 minute drive and like 8 within a 15 minute drive...this place is pretty saturated.

    B&M - Southern California

There are few that I have been to. They all have the Filipino mods. Pure Vapor is one of the distributors of the King by Surefire, they also get Kayfuns. Ultra Vape gets some European mods like the Nemesis, but you will pay over retail. Vape Station Exclusive gets the Chi You. The Vaping...

I just bought a mechanical. Help.

If you're not going to use a rebuildable with your mechanical, I suggest you use a kick.

    First step into RBAs!

    You could try going 3/64" (1.2mm), 1/16" (1.58mm), then 5/64" (1.98mm). I usually drill my holes to 1/16".

Micro Coils to increase Vapor, flavor & TH

Yeah it's standard silica. No dry hits with this setup. I'm waiting on my Ekowool, too.

Post pictures of your working wick and coil setup

I wanted to try the microcoil trend. I did a dual 32awg freehand on some folded 2mm silica. Here are the results! I'm really enjoying the vape on this setup. It metered out at 1.0 ohm and I usually vape 0.6 ohm with 28awg on my Kayfuns. I would say setting this up is definitely more time...

Micro Coils to increase Vapor, flavor & TH

I attempted my first microcoil today. Dual 32g wrapped freehand. Resistance is at 1.0 ohm. I usually vape 0.6 ohm on my Kayfuns, but this is really nice and close to my other setup.

Been vaping for 2 months now. Thinking of going RBA route.

I really don't like 14500's with rebuildables. You will have to carry around a lot of batteries for a full days worth of vaping. I would suggest getting an 18 series mod. My first mechanical was a hybrid. I went with the Macaveli 350. I loved it but when I wanted to try different atomizers...

    Smoktech MAGNETO?

Looks like the Chinese are finally learning something. That switch design is a direct rip off of the Nzonic switch. Finally no stupid plating on the brass contacts. It also looks like they ditched the Ego threading. Looks like a good entry level mech.

So...after I have seen RBA tutorial videos...I will just give up for now.

If you're cartos are satisfying your needs you really don't need to try a rebuildable. I only moved on after getting tired of muted flavors and trying a genesis on a mechanical at a local shop.
