Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

Random question. Still working on this, but I've noticed something I cant explain, but hopefully you all can make more sense of it. With 3 different squonking devices, I find I can chain vape them each in a row, very low reaction, doesnt matter what type of juice. I have to let them sit for...

New to squonking, looking for MOD recommendations

@Steamer861 How sturdy is the Inbox? Price isn't much of an issue for me thankfully, so finding something that will last a long time is a plus also.

New to squonking, looking for MOD recommendations

I stand corrected and just tested it myself. The only issue I have is that since you can't adjust the wattage in TC mode, it eats batteries like they were going out of style :-( Otherwise, it would just stay with the Dripbox 160. BTW, I love the button colors on yours!

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

Ok, I'm going to test squonking for a couple of weeks and see what happens. I have 2 devices now, and built them differently just to try to test if build, cotton, wattage, etc was the new culprit of my lack of throat issues, but the only commonality I can find is the squonking device itself...

New to squonking, looking for MOD recommendations

So I just fell in love with squonking a couple of days ago, and I'm looking for MOD recommendations that fit the following requirements: 1. TC 2. Regulated 3. Can use different RDA's 4. TC wattage can be changed. I have a Dripbox 160, and a Wraith 80. As I understand it, I won't be able to use...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

Ok, random question, so that I can try a base recreation. When store bought liquids say they are Max VG, like Milkman Pudding by Vaping Rabbit, does anyone know what the usual mix of PG and VG there is?

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

I'm going to put this conversation on hold for a moment, sorry. Something weird has come up in the last 24 hours, and I'm trying to test to see whats up. I bought a squonker for driving, and in using it, 90% of the throat irritation issue have disappeared while using 2 store bought brands from 2...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

@IDJoel Thank you, I appreciate that you all are letting me know how I am explaining things incorrectly. TBH, while I know it's important (and trust me, ill be rereading both your and bwh's posts to make sure I understand how to explain my terminology more correctly), I am doing my measurements...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

@Izan Ok, so now I'm confused. @bwh79 is making it seem (as I am understanding) that I'm using too much nicotine, but you are using 10x as much as I am. Yours says that you are at 10% nicotine, while mine is at 1%. Edit, ignore this post.

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

@bwh79 You seem to be intent that this is a potential fight, while I am viewing it as the opposite, an educational opportunity. I understand that you are likely upset because you don't want a stupid "noob" poisoning themselves and making DIYing look bad. As such, I am not upset with your...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

@Izan I don't use the drops. My syringe is capable of measuring in .01 mL increments, so in the example above, I would use .1 mL of nicotine solution as a part of the total 10 mL, as the program says. The entire syringe can only hold 1 mL of liquid. This is the exact brand. 1 mL Syringes without...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

@bwh79 First off, you aren't being a dick, and I appreciate you pointing out that I was doing something wrong, and/or stating things incorrectly. I'm not sure how to put this, so I'll go wander off into the DIY sections again and do some research. I'm not sure how to explain what I want to...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

Also , I decided to test @440BB 's idea of going flavor free. I started with pure VG, nothing else. I still noticed a small amount of irritation. So I decided to try 100% VG with 12 MG of Nic just to see if there was a difference in irritation. At first the TH was pretty strong and it definately...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

I am likely explaining myself incorrectly, so here is a screenshot of what im doing. Also, from NN it was the 100% Nic 100% VG base Smooth Nicotine Salts. This is the current stuff I'm using, but I have used other brands too.

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

My setup: Currently I'm using a dripper, as none of my tanks could handle 100% VG. KGD wicks, SS coils (spaced that I made, alien, clapton that were premade). I've been running doubles between .2-.45 ohms, but I'm testing a 1.0 ohm single coil right now. I've been mostly using TC since this new...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

I can try more mouth to lung. I smoke that way, but I find it hard to do mouth to lung with vaping. I havent really changed flavor profiles or anything like that. All I have changed is lowering Nicotine. I'll try TFA smooth and see if it helps.

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

I use the old Ejuice me up app, I have 100% VG Nic base, Smooth Salts from NN. In Ejuice me up, I set it to nicotine strenth 1 mg Nic for 10 ML of liquid. Is that the equivalent of 10% now a days, in the way things are measured? The reason I ask is because I'm looking at a bottle of Milkman I...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

Im not sure how much lower to go than 1% nic, but I could try .5% and see if maybe the 100% VG ive been using might be an issue also. The funny thing is this wasnt an issue when I first started vaping in 2011 using my old Ego. Ive also tried messing with as many settings as possible, lowering...

Looking for any additives that cut throat irritation

As the title says, vaping tends to give me throat irritation, that eventually starts to feel like strep throat. I hydrate, I've tried adding 5-10% DW to DIY liquids, I've tried lowering my nicotine down to 1 mg, I've tried using nicotine from multiple sources, cut all PG. Anyone know of any...
