i have bored out my airhole to 5/64, and that helped with ratio or airflow to heat on the coils. in my experience genny's perform best at lower resistance and bigger airhole. also try the unoxidized method. pbusardo has a good upload on youtube. when i tried that method i never went back. but if...
i use 3mm 100% pure cotton yarn only in my dripper rba's. holds a ton of juice vs. silica. last way longer and once seasoned for a few days gets even better. real easy to work with doesn't fall apart on you like silica. even at .3 ohms they hold up well even when they are drying out. flavor is...
I ran dual coils on my igo-L @ .3 ohms with a single 3/32 airhole hitting just one of the coils. Whats the resistance on your build? Running longer legs should make for any hot legs. A couple of things affect vapor production like ratio of pg/vg and nic level. Higher vg and low nic give off more...
Definately remove fill hole screw...it can create a vacuum in the tank. Also before you start to vape with the cap off give it a lil blow into the fill hole. Are you tilting your device. Nature of ghe beast with genesis atomizers is you have to tilt the device enough to where the liquid is...
i really love the 28awg, i currently use it twisted on my genny and get better results than with 26awg wrapped with the same res. on my igo-l it is kinda a struggle to get the wires to wrap, i use 26awg on mine doing a single wire dual coil it comes out to .3 and surprisingly working very well...
i do the kink thing on the bottom coil and the top coil right where the wire leaves the the mesh to the top post and it keeps the heat only on the coils. try getting some 30awg, you will have to put an additional wrap on it but the wire is alot more sturdy onder load.
or try moving coils...
I am one that enjoys a 3/32 airhole for each coil i have set up. I get a satisfying nic delivery actually cutting down to 6mg and still getting stellar flavor without having to suffocate myself on superlong drags. 3-4 second pulls and thats it. Its relevant to your builds. When im vaping my dual...
For making curved wicks with ss mesh cut along the diagonal. It will accept the curve without kinking. I use a u wick in my rda right now with cotton wicks wrapped around the mesh and coil keeps it from dry hitting and holds a grip of juice. Check it out on youtube "ieatbeanerz" is my channel
when i feel im shorting i just pull the wick up past the coils and do a juice burn to put a little more oxidation on it. that's how tight my coils are wrapped just enough friction to slide around.
great tip rule...better conductivity,
as for the OP i would run without the fill screw, when u experience the top coils lighting it's an indication of bad wicking, normally when i first start to vape from between vaping sessions i preheat the wicks by pulsing to warm the juice up a bit. also...
if ur gonna use an ego style battery i would go with a phoenix clone im not sure who has em in stock but they are pretty small in diameter. the i go s is another good one but the diameter will require a beauty ring
an RDA octopus $9 DelawareVapor.com and a kts telescopice mechanical $42 DelawareVapor.com
you will need to rebuild the coil and cut the wicks, i use 100% cotton wicks. and 28awg kanthal a1 temco industries on ebay 25' for $250
must use on mechanical to get ability to run under 1 ohm builds.
its really up to you, for now getting into sub ohms an aw high drain imr will do. if ur gonna be sticking around .5 ohms you might want to consider mnke's. i use aw's and they work great. the ratings do decrease with battery size stick with the 18500 & 18650.
but most important always meter ur...
