you may use twisted kanthal. you can google how to make it. me too have that problem before but never since, even no hotspot, no need to bend the wick.

thanks for the reply guys. 500ml is a lot of liquids yet no problems. so I should worry for no thing and just act normal while passing the checks.

Agreed, its actually not totally water vapour, the PG/VG creates the vapour when burned + some water vapour.PG is a hydrophilic substances,which adsorb water molecule,thats why youll fell dryness at the back of your throat.
