Zero nicotine safe for X smokers?

No serious difference really. Both are made by good companies. Mostly, it's a matter of personal preference.

Yet Another Newbie Request for Buying Advice

I know not much about the E-Max kit but do like Kanger a great deal. Before I moved up to a more "advanced" widget, the Evod had become my favorite. Hard to describe but they have a nice "air flow" to them. And they're very easy to fill, clean, and maintain. The "coil head"--the tiny heater that...

What made you switch to vaping?

Heh. Yah, I don't know I could ever shake nicotine (it's got quite a hold on me). But the house smells minty now instead of "fresh forrest fire". :D Also, I can take the trash out without getting winded...

What made you switch to vaping?

Keep at it. Not everybody stops the first day or even first week. Took me six weeks to stop all smoking. I cut way, way back right off but finding the vape that works for you, personally, can take some of us time. But six weeks in, the last, lonely pack ran out and I just never bought another...

What made you switch to vaping?

Heh. I was buying my regular carton when I saw a Blu disposable and was curious so I bought one. Fiddled with it, started liking it, then got busy... and freaking forgot to light up the rest of the day. I was... I don't know how to describe just how weird that was. I was a pretty heavy smoker. I...

When did you realize you were no longer a smoker?

First time I walked through somebody else's smoke and didn't care. It was a little eerie. I thought I'd have to avoid smokers and smoke but I dont. And I still like the smell of tobacco. I just don't want to smoke. It's... strange. But that was the day I realized I was "a vaper" not "a smoker...

    Mixing Straight Juice With Flavoring

Try about 20% of flavoring. So, like, I have 15ml bottles? I'd put 3ml flavoring in then fill with plain nic. Close up, shake well (leave overnight if you want to allow some steeping). I nabbed a couple of cheap hypo widgets from the pharmacy for measuring. Any "medicine measure" at a pharmacy...

    starting at 0mg liquid

Ah, you may want to start with a nic juice then work your way down. I've seen a lot of folks switch to vaping then decrease their nicotine level over time until they reach 0 nic. Starting with 0 nic might be as rough as "cold turkey" and cause anxiety (I have some anxiety issues of my own and...

Hi! I'm here - and yes I have questions, lets start with evod-chargers…

It's also cheaper in the long run. The "higher end" devices look more expensive at first glance but the batteries are way less expensive than an eGo like Vision or Joye. Start up cost is higher but long run (with a good, solid device that'll last) is cheaper.

Zero nicotine safe for X smokers?

In general, yup. One big advantage of the "eGo style" is a "dual threading". EGo around the outside, 510 inside. That way, you can use (most) any 510 or eGo threaded "topper" on the battery. It's just unscrew one, screw on the other and off you go. Heh, even Blu cartridges are 510 threaded and...

    unflavored juice

Mount Baker is a good start: Unflavored E Juice - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes. They also have a good 200ish flavorings to pick from. For "bulk", Wizard Labs: Wizard Labs. Which may be where your juices actually started out from. Lots of the vape shops buy bulk from Wizard. You...

    vg/pg% whats the difference?

You'll have to play around with the ratio to see what suits you but the "rule of thumb" I see all the time is more VG produces more vapor but "mutes" flavor (and tends to "gunk up" your coils in my experience) while more PG carries flavor (and "throat hit" for those who like it... I never did...

Hi! I'm here - and yes I have questions, lets start with evod-chargers…

First, the number of problems is actually quite small compared to the number of batteries in use. You should exercise care, of course, but don't be terrified of your batteries! Lithium ion batteries are all over now. Cell phones, laptops, tablet computers, medical devices, hybrid and all...

Zero nicotine safe for X smokers?

He may not care for "dripping". It can produce really great flavor but it can also be a pain (well, at least it was for me). The Vision batteries are good. Used to use those and Twists myself. But found the small, refillable tank like "clearomizers" (as they're called round these parts) to be...

Zero nicotine safe for X smokers?

I've been buying from Mt Baker well over a year now and they do good work. Testing for nic is a pain from what I've seen. I'd go with buying from reputable vendors like Mt Baker instead. 0 nic vaping ought to be no problem. The ingrediants are items used in food and medications. Yeah, it's...

    Contained batteries vs loose batteries.

I moved to an advanced set up in part because the batteries are actually less expensive. If you compare the set ups with built in batteries to "loose" batteries, it's cheaper to buy, say, 18650s (which I use) than the built ins. Like a Twist with 1000 or 1300 (think that's the big one now?) is...

Newbie kicking the cigs for vape

Keep going. For some of us, it takes a bit of time to find what all works. I slowed waaaaay down with smoking immediately (from two packs a day to maybe a half dozen cigs a day) but it was a good six weeks before I stopped smoking completely. Now I'm working on my 19th smoke free month. It'll be...

    Could Vamping become adiction

That's a big gamble you're taking there. We're not able to predict how an individual will react to any potentially addictive substance. Most "addicts" are the minority of a given population (of folks who "try" something or other even over a period of time). I knew a guy who did opiates, liked...

    Could Vamping become adiction

Well... yes and no. NRT is insanely low nic. The gum, for example, is 2mg and 4mg. I was able, myself, to hold out longest on the gum but had definite withdrawal going on. Far more severe than anything that happened when I switched to vaping. The interesting thing about my own experience was the...
