Closed/Sold WTB old used Vamo, broken OK, plus one working one

Thanks Dougiestyle! But, I think I'm just gonna have to upgrade all my stuff. Maybe I'll just pick up a box mod somewhere and a few updated tanks. Believe it or not, I'm still using my Terminators... the old ones that require spot welding wires! Yes, I built spot welders from disposable...

Closed/Sold WTB old used Vamo, broken OK, plus one working one

Hello everyone, I haven't been here for a very long time so hopefully I don't break any rules I can't remember. I'm looking to buy an old used Vamo. I just need it for parts so even if the electronics don't work, it'll be fine. Dirt cheap (or free) if you don't mind just getting rid of it...

please help me with my vamo v2 flashing

I'm sure you must know how to operate your vamo by now but I can't tell by what you've posted. It's normal for the vamo to flash 3 times whenever you change the battery. However, you still have to turn it on with 5 clicks before it starts working so you can vape with it. You don't state...

My VAMO V3 is HERE! But I do have an issue with the top ring :(

Use rubber gloves, rubber jar opener, or produce rubber bands... anything to help you get a grip. If you're going to use pliers, use leather as the wrap instead of tape of cloth... an old leather belt would do well to help prevent the pliers from digging through.

    Ithaka clone???

The description for Material is 303 Stainless Steel + PC. I'm assuming "PC" stands for Plated Chrome? Is any of it chrome plated brass or (other)? I really dislike chrome plated atomizers like the Protank (due to the constant metallic taste), and if this has chrome plating, I'll avoid it at...

    Dry Hits With Kanger Protank

You would think that a dry hit couldn't happen to wicks totally immersed in liquid sitting at the bottom of a tank. I've tried everything to fix this (wrapping my own coils) and have yet to be successful... I still get dry hits every so often. My only solution is to stop using the Protank. To...

    Tool school, please

The fraction 3/8" refers to the size limit your drill can handle. It should state the size on the label somewhere. If you had a 1/2" drill, then you can use larger bits than on a 3/8" drill. Read the label. Who make's the cordless you have? If it's a 3/8", it should handle small bits. Of...

    Tool school, please

What kind of RBA's are you drilling? Most Chinese built RBA's like AGA-T's, IGO-L's, RSST's, and the like, will drill quite easily with standard steel drill bits. You don't need any kind of special drill bits. If you have a 3/8" drill handy and some steel bits, just give it a try first before...

    IGO-L Problem (Terrible taste)

Couple things ... 1) You need to clean the IGO-L thoroughly... boiling works well. If you don't want to boil, at least use some good dish-washing soap and scrub it well... then rinse it equally well to get the soap out. 2) Get rid of the pin when you wrap your coils. Wrap the coils...

"Lo ohms 1.1Ω " reading & now Vamo wont turn back on?

You're probably aware of this, but the Vamo should blink 3 times whenever you insert a battery. If it doesn't do that, then just return it for a new one. If it's not even blinking correctly to begin with, then it's defective, or intermittent. Just return it.

    Vamo v2 won't laways fire!

I've seen this with one of my Vamos. I had to change the switch on the PWB. Luckily, I had a spare switch from a damaged Vamo that had a bad 510 connector so I just swapped the switch. Didn't swap the whole board because actually one of the small switches on the sacrificial board was...

Stainless Vamo - Threads also stainless?

This is a photo of a SS head. The damage was done with an ordinary pair of cutting pliers (dikes). Definitely brass, as you can't do this to SS with ordinary pliers. You can also see the brass coloring. I've also disassembled all three of my SS Vamos at one time or another and noted that...

Kayfun vape quality compared to A7… versus Terminator (Ody clone)

I've been dripping on IGO-L's for some time and now the A7's. The A7's outperform the IGO-L's by far for flavor and vapor quality, but as noted, they're no where near the Term in density for me. The Term gives me that same "juice while walking around feeling" too. I was just curious how much...

Kayfun vape quality compared to A7… versus Terminator (Ody clone)

Thanks for the info... very helpful! Unfortunately, InTaste is now out of stock, as is VapeRev. Oh well, I guess I'll just catch it the next go round.
