The only place I've been able to find the bases is directly from Aspire. I ordered one a couple weeks ago. I think it was 10 or 11 bucks.

I have a similar issues with one of my Evod 2s. It is strange. I think it may be an issue with the threads, not sure though. Glad it worked out for you!

I periodically have this issue with my itaste vw batteries. Adjusting the center pin is a quick and easy fix. I usually use a push pin, takes 2 seconds.

I love my new Evod 2s but noticed that when I soaked the coils some of them appeared to be rusting. I didn't soak them for long and have never had anything like this happen with the single coils previously. I'm not even sure if they are safe to use after. What is up with this? :(
