I also chose the Efest V2 but have been charging at 1 amp. What are the pluses of using the lower rate?

    RBA -original or clone?

Hi all, I am considering the Ehpro kayfun lite plus, the Russian 91, aqua clone and looking others. Because the originals are more expensive (although Russian 91 price is steep for a clone), and hard to find originals. Any suggestions out there? I am using Kanger mini pro and aerotak and small...

Thank you BostonVape, This is helpful, now just need to decide which one to get, clone maybe.:)

    Stepping down in nicotine.

I am down to 6mg from a start of 18mg over a year ago, and I am wondering if a Russian 91% or kayfun would help me down to 3mg. Right now I'm using the aspire coils and aerotank, sometimes evod or miniPT with cotton at 6.5W - 8W. But I'm not interested in subohm vaping. It seems that most people...

Has anyone drilled out the air holes in aspire et or et-s?

    These are really helpful. Thanks!

Has anyone drilled out the air holes in aspire et or et-s?

I'm not sure what is meant by 'smallest' setting. There are no settings on the Aspire ET, although I believe that the Nautilus has airflow control. The ET is a much simpler device and uses different coils than the ones used by Nautilus. I have only built single coils, with cotton, and they are...

Has anyone drilled out the air holes in aspire et or et-s?

Sometimes the Aspire head start to give dry hits, then I draw on it with the air holes blocked off to suck more liquid into the coil. Which works ok, but I think the air holes may too small. I read about drilling out larger air holes in some tanks, and might try it. Do I need a special drill...

Something I didn't expect has posed a possible problem

Do you fiddle with your thingy?

one more: are these tanks used with the MVP or vv gripper? If so, would the 15 mm be best?

Do you fiddle with your thingy?

Thanks much brooks and ocd. The vamo's threads reportedly are not so good. So I was thinking of using an air flow controller between tank and device to protect the threads. Any problem with this? Thanks in advance.

Do you fiddle with your thingy?

Hey guys, I've tried to search for an answer, but this is a LONG thread. Which size IB tank will go best with the vamo v5 with the slightly tapered top cap? many thanks!

What mistakes did you make when you first started vapeing ?

Starting out with Blu e-cigs. If I had read more on ECF and done my research, I think I might have started with something better. Another: buying too much stuff - 808's, 306's, spinners, vv gripper, mvp, vamo... I could go on with cartos, clearos, BDC clearos, .. I think you get the picture...

burnt insulator in kanger coil - throw out?

Good point about the soldering. Maybe worse than inhaling an occasional burned cotton fiber or burned insulator.

burnt insulator in kanger coil - throw out?

To confirm, are these the correct grommets? AGA Series Positive Post Insulators - 10 pack - Kidney Puncher Where can I get non-resistance wire? Is there a particular type of solder material. I have some stuff that I have used on circuit boards, and wonder if that will work.

burnt insulator in kanger coil - throw out?

I recently started building coils for my protanks and evods, using 32g kanthal and cotton. I took 4 heads apart and noticed that one of the white insulators was burned on one side. If I reuse the burnt one, will it continue to have a burned taste? Or should I toss it? Thanks.

    testing ohms question

Ok, I got a Klein MM200 multimeter. Is this good for testing dry coils? It is difficult to hold the leads in the appropriate (+ and -) places. Thanks!

I am testing with a PV - VV gripper and MVP2. Yes, there is wick in coil - silica. What else?

    testing ohms question

thanks. I'm not using cotton, just silica wick. Should each wrap of coil light up at same time? Seems like one lights, then the next, then the next, and so on until all light.

    testing ohms question

When building a new coil, does it have to be tested with liquid on it, or can it be tested dry? I see videos where someone puts it on a battery to test dry, and I read somewhere else it needs to be wet. Thanks in advance!
