    I will clean and rebuild it tonight. I am also going to toss the washers that came on the positive post. I was reading in another forum about how some Kraken clones have come with washers that aren't stainless steel and that too could contribute to a nasty flavor.

    Got my Kraken clone in this morning and put a dual coil build in it using 10 wraps each with 28g and cotton wicking. I've run a tank and a half through it so far and am still getting a strong Kanthal flavor. Will the coils eventually break in or is it possible that I have done something wrong...

    Is the TDM RY4 any good? I've never messed around with any tobacco blends before and was wondering if it is necessary to use one of those bases I saw mentioned earlier in the thread or would the RY4 be fine as a stand alone.

    I'm having trouble finding battery holders for 18650s (would I need to use just contacts instead?) and I am also looking for some small buttons to use for the wattage controls (something similar to the ones on a Hannah). Please and thank you :-)

    I just got home from work and tried cleaning the charging port one more time. This time I also used a small safety pin to scrape around inside there. I didn't retrieve any junk but apparently I did something right. The LED charge indicator light has remained lit for a good 15 minutes so far...

    The battery is completely drained. At this point there is no "on". Prior to this I was locking it before charging however.
