So the ECF staff can ban a person, send that person undisclosed PMs, then post the persons public responses (without posting the contents of the PMs), and then publicly allege/accuse that person publicly... and the person they are talking about has no right/way to publicly to public accusations...

'Don't have much time for posting anywhere these days, but in reviewing the last couple of pages, it seems that once posters were warned & threatened to 'stop grousing' (or have the thread closed), they were very obedient. When discipline is fairly applied, it is rare that the...

Flavors that may contain Diacetyl, are there really this many?

What we think: 1) Yes, diacetyl in it's natural form is found in many natural foods & plants. They're (conveniently?) leaving out that the man-made synthetic diacetyl, that is commonly used in a vast array of 'food flavorings' (what we vape), is the only one known to have caused varying levels...

    Another thought on Nic Hoarding

The FDA is like the IRS; the FDA can do anything it wants whenever it wants to do it...just ask the sellers of raw milk, raw milk cheese, herbs, etc., that have had their businesses raided at gunpoint; all products/records confiscated; arrested/convicted and fined/incarcerated. And that's what...

Ditto on the Catalan Cream! In Googling a recipe for real custard sauce the other night, I ended up looking at all kinds of custard recipes, and I found out that real Catalan Cream *always* contains citrus peel (typically lemon or orange, or both). THAT *is* (beyond any shadow of any doubt)...

Yes, "smoked" is a decent way to describe what Black Fire can do for flavors - it'd likely make a great smoked almond, or could be tweaked to smoke most anything. It has a wee-tiny-hint of caramel that really rounds it out. It's indispensable for tobaccos!

Smooth how do you use it

Of course, of course...to each his own (and all that) -- However, there's a vast difference of the effects of eating 'something' and the effects of direct inhalation of the same 'something'.

Best source for high quality VG.

Here what we now use - it's pharmaceutical/USP and certified organic (and comes with a current chemical analysis): Jedwards International, Inc.. bulk organic vegetable glycerin We phoned to find out the source of the organic oil used - it was organic soy. But I was told to check, as they...

    E-liquid changes color rapidly

Vanillin will change the color of a juice from clear to brilliant salmon-pink...over time, depending upon the strength. Vanillin is a component of many 'creams' & vanilla flavorings.

Smooth how do you use it

Exactly! Although Smooth (TFA) and Vape Wizard/Magic Mask (FA) may have a bit of added flavor, they are designed to chemically alter the way our taste buds/receptors work, so that we perceive the juice tastes differently. FA states this in their 'blurbs'; TFA doesn't (but I confirmed it with...

Actual Exposure to Chemicals of Concern (diacetyl/acetoin/acetyl propionyl/etc)

No doubt about it, you2rcool :) Yeah, at one time, it did seem logical/common sense that the world was flat...and that the thunder/lightning gods could be appeased by human sacrifices to ensure a good crop :::grin::: We are both college educated (one 4 years, one 8 years), and my ACT put me in...

Actual Exposure to Chemicals of Concern (diacetyl/acetoin/acetyl propionyl/etc)

500,000ppb liquid, heated into a gaseous state within a small tank, with only the added air that is drawn into the tank plus a tiny bit of air that's inhaled along with it...becomes a vapor containing a mere 20ppb. 'Sorry, we're not buying it. If we find that we're wrong, we'll admit it and...

Actual Exposure to Chemicals of Concern (diacetyl/acetoin/acetyl propionyl/etc)

You are correct, I apologize - correct names should defintely be used. Fwiw, regarding acetoin, snippets from OSHA here: https://www.osha.gov/dts/shib/shib10142010.html ...They have begun to use substitutes such as acetyl propionyl (2,3 pentanedione) and acetoin. These substitutes, some of...

Actual Exposure to Chemicals of Concern (diacetyl/acetoin/acetyl propionyl/etc)

You are correct, math doesn't lie. While we understand your explanations, we disagree with how they relate to an accurate 'ppb calculation' of the vapor production from a liquid (something that can't begin to be determined accurately without knowing the volume of air being added to the vapor...

Actual Exposure to Chemicals of Concern (diacetyl/acetoin/acetyl propionyl/etc)

Let us not mince words (and opinions) about an issue that's so serious. Whether it's "technically" a diketone or not is irrelevant to the fact that it has been determined to be an inhalation risk chemical - and that heat (amongst other factors) will cause a conversion to diacetyl.

Actual Exposure to Chemicals of Concern (diacetyl/acetoin/acetyl propionyl/etc)

This calculator 'works', but it doesn't seem to us that's it's accurate. From Wikipedia - Tidal volume is the lung volume representing the normal volume of air displaced between normal inhalation and exhalation when extra effort is not applied. In a healthy, young adult, tidal volume is...
