All of a sudden the coils I've been building tonight have been catching fire.and not just one but all three and not just once either. A few times with each. What's going on? It's reading at about .06. Using 28 g kanthal. Three wraps. And wicks are saturated not dry. Pleeease helppp

So I've been building my own coils for a few weeks now and decided to start using 28 gauge kanthal wire. My first coil read 0.6 ohms. I wanted to get around 0.8. Is this safe? What's the lowest you can go in a mechanical? Thank you all

My ohm level is any where from one Point one to one point thre and I use it at about three point five volts. And maybe I'm not building it at the same length? Idk lol I didn't know that made a difference.

I just use whatever lol i prefer carto tanks. If you think about it you want convenience and juice capacity. I mean the mvp is great as far as longevity is concerned. So those three factors kind of go hand in hand
