I'll add that I actually also modified the Notank by drilling a small hole at the base of the positive post. One of the issues I had with it was that excess juice wouldn't drain out, as the original design was that the wick was wrapped around the positive where the juice hole was and would not... -
Back to the ReoVille.
The Notank was designed to be used with mesh. The recommended coiling is the mesh wick rolled around the center post and coiled from there. I ran that setup for a while but got tired of squonking every 2-3 puffs. I also experimented with Ekowool sleeving the center post but was also... -

Hey guys, long time lurker, first timer poster here. I've had a Reo Grand and a Mini 2.1 way back and sold them to fund other purchases.. Now after a full cycle I'm back to squonking for good. I've tried almost everything out there including most of the unicorn mods and atties, but squonk boxes... -

I found that when filling the tank, it works the best when the feed hole on the diver is covered by the tank. What I mean by that is to slide the tank slightly up the diver when filling. Just get the precoiled ceramics. I am another big fan of the Divers and I run them with the precoiled stuff at 1.6ohms. I tried wrapping with NR before though and tbh not much of a difference that I can tell. It's easy once you do it a couple times. -
