Nermal has it right. It's more about adjustment. About the only thing I get with mine is wind noise. And the wind has to be gusting a good clip for that to happen.

Getting use to them can take months. You lose your hearing slowly. So your brain adjust as that happens. You now have to relearn to hear again.

Lots of back ground noise. And you know how the little ones tend to scream and squeal? Amplify that and it can be hard on the eardrums. :)

One more thing. If for some reason one of the hearing aids has a problem it may need to be sent for warranty repair. (they can't fix everything) If that happens send both of them in. It means you'll be without them for about 2 weeks. (I had an old set I could use) But better to have both...
