Provari on an Oscope vs Vamo

well, I have been away from ecf for awhile. I was in a vape shop today looking for a cheap clearo to take through the airport and not risk losing my rba's at the check point, and I saw the Itaste 134 mod. it as an appealing "industrial" look to it, kind of reminded me of a style of air/hydraulic...

Anybody still rockin an AGA T+

I am still running two of the AGA T2's (no pun intended :) ). I have pretty much mastered my technique of wicking/coiling them so I haven't looked at other options,.... until a few days ago anyway, when i dropped one of them and broke my last spare pyrex tank, the tanks are no longer available...

    Is kanthal ribbon worth it?

I am running .5 kanthal ribbon 4/5 wrap, .125 dia (1.8 ohm) in a AGA T2 on a SS rope/cotton hybrid wick with great results. can't compare it to round wire though, when i got the aga after the provided mystery wire popped i went straight to ribbon to try and eliminate hot spot issues with the...

"P" envy, the offer I couldn't refuse, and my vaping story.

Love the story also. My vaping path was also somewhat similar. I started with one of those free give away 510 carto style sticks, and they rape you evey month on the pre-filled cartos, then I moved up to a joyetech Ecab which was way better, but still had issues, poor battery life, leaking tank...

How does the AGA-T2 perform with the Provari?

If you are new to RBA's you might want to check out these threads also: Different Cottons for different wicks and Wire Rope for Wick Setting up a genisys type RBA (the aga is this type) can be challenging at first with the standard SS wick and can discourage many from using it out...

    Im one of you now!

congratulations !!!! I did the same thing about a month ago. I was getting worried that my evic had probably survived it's last rough handling event and the next one would do it in, so i got the provari as a backup. the the evic is now a backup to the provari :)

    The Flavor Apprentice Flavoring Thread

I had the same experience with the TFA black cherry. I would go the other direction, try %5 or maybe even lower. I had to blend the black cherry with vanilla and added some Ethyl Maltol to tame the black cherry, still not perfect, but much better I went with %5 TFA Black Cherry %5 FA Vanilla (...

    Different Cottons for different wicks

I agree with toothboy, I have also been experimentiing with various cottons for several months now, and i find that cheesecloth seems to hold up the best. when i was running a 100% cotton U-wick in an AGA, i prefered the yarn for repeatablity, but the wicking just wasn't as good as i wanted. I...

    Locking Voltage Preset

I have actually had this happen on multiple occasions, mainly while driving. I mainly use my provari now while driving and out and about. I still use the evic at home, and when i am messing around with trying something new on an atty.

    The Flavor Apprentice Flavoring Thread

It really depends on the flavour. I recently got some black cherry from TFA and it needed to steep for almost a week to lessen the purfumy taste, I also have some root beer that i have not mixed up yet, but have heard it needs to steep awhile also. then i have blueberry and watermelon from TFA...

    Wire Rope for Wick?

I haven't used the 1/16, but others have on here with good results. I wouldn't worry about movement, and I personally prefer the wick to be fairly loose in the hole, it helps with tilting and priming the sleeve material. I have noticed with my juice DIY 50/50 with with 10% PGA that in temps...

    Wire Rope for Wick?

well i think there are alot of factors at work here and it's not so simple to say one material wicks better than another. the 100% cotton wicks that i ran seem to have problems with vertical wicking, they are difficult to get demensioned correctly and in the coil area, any gunking would choke...

    Wire Rope for Wick?

I have also experimented with cheese cloth, it works, but is more difficult to keep the tip from being a frayed mess. I have another one wrapped with cotton ball, as i have heard alot from the different cotons for wick thread this is prefered by most. I did experiment with cotton balls when i...

    Wire Rope for Wick?

after running the stem-wick now for almost a week, I noticed another benefit of this design, I get zero back flow from the wick, so my juice doesn't darken towards the end of my tank. I have been vaping DIY watermelon, which is clear, and when i get to the end of the tank in the aga it is still...
