It's a gel that expands with water. I was going to use colored water but the tank was too heavy... Still need to get the fogger in and a "drip tip" for the top.

Harlw, I got the box in and was going to try and mod it using the internals that it came with. It wasn't a direct "solder on a 510 connector and go" setup, so the project stalled... Now I'm sidetracked with other mod projects lol. I'll come back to it eventually.

So we roughed in the base tonight and I got the electronics finished. I stuck it all together so you could get an idea of what it'll look like when it's finished.

I wouldn't think it would be a problem, seeing that soda cans are made from aluminum. Not sure if there's a difference between machined aluminum grades and the grade they make cans out of, in regards to food safety. All I've ever seen the canning factory do is run the cans thru a bath of soapy...

I posted this a few months back about a box I made. Now that I've got bigger mods, I need to make a different tray to hold them. My various tanks fit into the bottle holders just fine, upright. There's even enough lid clearance to hold my protanks...
