    Brass button covers

Since you mentioned Snody, come to think of it I believe you did. The SNs is what threw me off at first. Snody's work is bad .... I have only been doing solid colors & 2 tones.

    Brass button covers

I don't think so as long as you repect the metal. Ti is what I mostly work with & is what I prefer to work with. I do anodize, stonewash, & carbidize finishes as well on the Ti stuff I make. I offered to do Ti buttons a few times but not many people here seemed to be interested. I think I still...

    Vaping in sub-zero temps sucks!

I'm a Cali boy so I don't know what sub zero temps feel like. But we've been having a cold front the past days mid 30s - 50s. My VG is thicker in the cold but I don't have any issues after I warm up the Reo with my hand. What's odd is I've been setting off my smoke alarm with only a few hits...

    Bobas in a RM2 help.

I use ekowool & max VG in all my Reos with no problems. But with Bobas it gunks up really fast. I use Bobas in a dripper with a tube mod with cotton. For me cotton seems to mute some of it's flavor but that nevered bothered me much as I'm not that big of a fan of Bobas and I only vape it...

    Brass button covers

I had that concern, the first brass ones I made, I made them press fit like Rob's delrin ones. That required much precision & was time consuming, I now use self adhesive that is removeable because. Sounds like that would be a great way to attach these too.

Mechanical reos will be seeing some upgrades

I see your point & that would make sense. But the spring ain't that light under compression. I have to really mash on the button to push down the battery. But my firing pin doesn't deform as the stock would. Was testing that when I made the first firing pin. That's why I believe in firm pressure...

Mechanical reos will be seeing some upgrades

I saw that too but I'm not understanding how the fuse mod would lead to no more sparking at the firing pin.

Mechanical reos will be seeing some upgrades

So at what resistances do the buttons melt? I run .8-1.0 ohms on all my Reos. Absolutely no signs of melting & I don't use Noalox. So I guess I will never melt a button & have no need to ever make my own buttons.

New guy in the Reo club

Yup, I did. Haven't followed much but last I saw Mac was making tube mods & RBAs.... out of Ti of course. Haven't seen anyone else though, haven't talked to TB in ages.

New guy in the Reo club

Hola SL, funny we cross paths here. Now you know one of the places where I have been hiding, sssh, don't tell anyone. :D Good to see you here & congrats on the nice Reo. BTW, if you haven't noticed yet, Mac is here too (not in Reoville though). I started with 1.5LR Ciscos, once you get the...
