I don't have a Reo or other bottom feeder mods, so I'm sure ones who do can testify better, but from what I understand a Reo with a bottom fed RDA is going to behave very much like any other RDA, with the benefit of having a tank.

do a little reading about microcoils on these forums and see what they are all about. 28ga wire is good for working with microcoils, and you can get good performance out of it.

I usually unroll a cotton ball to make a long strip, tare off a piece that's appropriate for the coil (very little practice will teach you what you need) and then twist the whole length to get the thickness and density that I want, often times appearing like in the picture you have here.

when I used to build micro coils in a protank I pretty exclusively preferred 28ga Kanthal. also used cotton wicks and built them to about 1.2-1.4Ω I mostly wound them around one of two alan keys I have, one thinner than the other, experimenting with both.

when the cotton is wet, it won't burn, even on really low Ω builds. if you run out of juice you'll get a terrible dry hit. if you're using realllllly low Ω and dry hit, you may scorch the wick, which will then need to be replaced. Up side is, it's super easy to re-wick and one bag of cotton...

after spending a while in RBAs building with mesh and SS cable I eventually tried cotton (just sterile cotton from CVS or wherever) and have never gone back. It's 1000x easier to work with (cotton doesn't short), is easily replaced and is very cheap. It also wicks better. No need for tilting...

Gonna throw in my suggestion to get either a Nemisis or Nemisis clone and maybe a Kick 2 or Kick clone. That will have you with a great solid mech and VW device. Comparatively compact, looks great, works great.
