FWIW, the slow boat from China is really slow right now (at least for me). I ordered an Eleaf iStick Rim C from Fasttech on April 26 (ships next day), and it just today posted in China. Ordered a 2nd Aegis Solo from Sourcemore (in stock) on April 29, and it hasn't even hit the China Post yet.

OK, I checked, and my Colossal from Vapor Range, purchased on 04/28 has the V16.

OK, I found the problem: the mod's resistance reading was faulty (too low). I re-wicked and did another cold Ω check and now it's working in TCR and TC modes. However, I can't use a different temp/wattage setting in TC. It default's to the setting in TCR.

Nope. Not on mine. It fires in TC Mode, but very feebly- just a whimper. TCR is fine. Same settings in both, so it should work. It's also fine in straight power mode. It's a nice little mod, but it pales in comparison to my Aegis Solo in nearly every way.

Thanks so much, @AngeNZ! I'm using 0.00140 in TCR and getting a nice vape. FWIW, my typical builds (on doggies) are 26g 316L, .35Ω - .41Ω. In power mode, I vape at around 19.5 watts. I've got TCR set for 25W/205℃. I still can't get it to fire in basic TC mode, using the same 25W/205℃. setting...

OK...I've got it working. It has to do with the "M" Mode (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5). I had it in M1. Switched it to M5 and now it's firing in TC and TCR modes. Can someone explain these "M" settings to me?

Got a new Colossal today and can't get it to fire in TEMP or TCR modes. Works fine in Power Mode. I did a cold resistance check and set it, set the temp (200℃), and wattage (20 watts) and it's reading the coil correctly at .39Ω. What am I doing wrong? I fully expect it will turn out to be...

I've seen people say this, but they never say why. Others say that if you don't lock (when cold) your TC will not be accurate.

To lock or not to lock- so many different opinions on this. :confused:

I'm experimenting with TC on my new Aegis Solo and would welcome any suggestions and/or information. My coils are SS 316L, between .36Ω and .42Ω, and I like about 19.5 - 20 watts in VW mode. Am I correct that for TC on a non-DNA mod I should lock the resistance? If temp rarely goes above...

Pretty decent price ($31.95 + free shipping) and every color for Colossal at vaporrange.

I really like the look of the Rim C and will report back when it arrives. The Asmodus Colossal is a good size for me, too. Maybe one of each?
