Make sure to drink lots of water, should help with dry mouth which is probably related to losing taste/burning. I swirl some around in my mouth as soon as I notice my mouth getting at all dry.

The one I bought stateside has a relatively tight draw (not horrible) but yes it leaks a bit when I put it down for awhile (even with 100% VG juice). I think many clearomizers have this issue, which is why I've been leaning more towards cartomizers/carto tanks.
