Do you wrap your coil directly on the silica or the drillbit method? Also have you wrapped the coils farther apart or does it seem to work better with the coils touching or close to touching? Finally, does sillica remove hotspots from the equation or does it still take some futzing with?

How are you guys that use silica wicks setting it up? There aren't many vids on YouTube showing how it's done and they both seem to be Uwicks. Any help you can give would be most appreciated.

I started with an EGO twist battery. Variable Voltage from 3.2-4.8. I got tired of the short battery life and bought a Smoktech Zmax. Then I bought an Itaste MVP, a Sigelei Tmax, and a Smoktech Natural. I Itaste is a VV mod from 3.3-6.0 volts, the Zmax and Tmax are VV and Variable Wattage...

You can find the Smoktech Natural for under $50 most places. The AGA-T2 is pretty good to start rebuilding. I'm planning on switching from the SS mesh to a Silica wick because I'm getting tired of futzing with my coil for twenty minutes to get rid of hotspots.

I pretty much quit as soon as I started vaping. I might have smoked for a couple days afterwards but not very long.

Bought a Protank and haven't used a ViVi since.
