    Customer Feedback thread.

Hi Shawn! Hope all is well with you. IF you run out of the stainless steel 510 attys, just substitute with black ones....but I do prefer the stainless. The 510 is now officially MY FAVORITE ATOMIZER. I'm still using up the old VX2 attys...as well as the BE112's on the Sparkplug....but the 510 is...

    Sparkplug

Hello Shawn and everyone else. I've been busy hauling freight all over the nation, but since I finally have some "home" time, I thought it would be nice to jump in here again at long last. Before starting with truck driving, I've extensively bench tested various attys at every voltage level...

VX2 LED flashlight mods in Red & Blue.....

ok, after making my first 2 in black, I sold one of the black ones to a local buddy of mine and it is now his favorite vaping device. I just made 2 more in red & blue and now I'm satisfied that I'll have a reliable and redundant trio of PV's for quite some time. The pair of red & blue anodized...

LiteCigUSA 16mg JUICES FOR TRADE, 140mL for just 50mL!!!

Soon I'll be a traveling man and I've decided that my new LED flashlight mods will be my main PV's of choice. I've found that when I vape on my DSE601 epipes, I prefer most of the tobacco type flavors. However when I'm vaping with my VX2 attys (using my 2 new mods) I like The CAPPUCINO...

NEW PHOTOS - pair of VX2 flashlight mods

Actually it was the Protege I meant to ask about. Who WOULDN'T like the Prodigy? It is well constructed with a 6VDC power source, so it's definitely a high performance PV. The Protege runs on stock voltage (3.7 VDC), but it also has the huge advantage of very good battery charge capacity. I...

Very sensible Robert, great mod. One of my main goals was to get away from the added hazards of lithium power, but the NiMH cells are not quite as strong under heavy current draw. It seems you need even more mAH with the NiMH cells. 800mAH is more than enough to make it have long run times...

VX2 carts - MUCH BETTER WICKING action

I think the hole you made with the nail will leak. The hole is probably too big.

5VDC regulator? Like a 7805 series, TO-220 type? Why? My unit just runs on 4.8VDC worth of NiMH cells...no regulator needed. With a regulator, there is ALWAYS lost energy in the power transfer and the regulator input voltage has to be a bit higher than the deisred output voltage, otherwise the...

NEW PHOTOS - pair of VX2 flashlight mods

There is an aluminum 4-40 grounding nut inside.....the type with the funny barbed grounding washer built right onto the bottom of the nut. There is a proper name for this type of nut, but it evades me. Under the nut is a solder type lug. It makes for a super solid ground connection. There are...

NEW PHOTOS - pair of VX2 flashlight mods

These 2 LED flashlight mods are finished. I kept it pretty simple and covered the hard clear plastic (epoxy filled) end caps with common black electrical tape. IF I want to get fancy about it, I could always mask them off and paint them. Notice the small 4-40 capscrews that are used as internal...

VX2 carts - MUCH BETTER WICKING action

Depending upon what you are using for cart stuffing, you may need to increase or decrease the size of the hole. If the hole is too big, you WILL have juice leakage at the atty/connector joint. Also keep in mind that you must avoid overfilling the cart....even when just topping it off. This will...

    Doc's LED flashlight VX2 mod 4.8 Volts

You're correct....even IF you had to buy switches, wire, solder and epoxy you still could build them for pretty darn cheap. I just did my 2nd one with another VX2 atty. I made 2 slight changes, but both work essentially the same. One just has a lower profile switch that you have to press a bit...
