Hi all, the forum seems very quiet lately ... is there any update about the VIR adaptor for larger batteries tubes (esterigon, ...)?

Any update on the availability of VIR adaptor for larger battery mods? I'm also not fine with 14500 batteries overall. Way too many constraints for my taste.

I faced that issue as well with 2 tanks, despite being cautious. Both ended in plastic dust shortly after cracks appeared, so I'd suggest you get spare ones if you can. Hope Imeo will release ultem tanks soon.

No Imeo, there's no battery when I blow in the tube. Could it be that holes are missing on that bottom cap?

A red blink means VIR can't heat the coil fast enough. It can be because of too thick wires, too many spires, too much liquid on the wick. What you describe is exactly what I use to have when using thick wires (0.6 mm). It all went fine when I used thinner wires (0.3 mm). Hope you'll sort it out.

Estirigon adapter is also what I wait for. Proteus is long enough for my taste :)

You mentioned a battery at 1.7V ? This sounds to me as one that might be damaged. This voltage is way too low.

The user guide on first page states that empty battery is 5 white blinks. But as mentioned by John, on my proteus, empty battery (3.3V at 240deg) is signaled by 5 RED blinks.

The "no screen" philosophie of proteus can be disturbing at first ... but after some time, I honnestly do not even care much about the temperature. I know that the highest setting is still in the safe zone - health wise -, so I just go up/down until I like the vape ... and if I must remember...

If you want even more airflow, check www.alliancetechvapor.fr they make a base with larger hole. Great to see proteus working well with more and more options.

Like any atomizer, it can leak in some cases, you'll then be ...... off and learn how to build it to avoid leakages (by putting the right amount of cotton).
