From personal experience with the iGo-L, use 3mm silica wick and 30g kanthal wire. Try out 3-4 wraps for a 3.7v mech device. Note that 3 wraps tends to put you at about .7-.9 ohm, so if you're not into sub ohm vaping make it 4 or even 5.

I can't think of any legit reason why you would be experiencing this with 0 Nic. What ratio are you using per PG/VG? You may have a sensitivity to PG.

I can't say for certain, because I only vape 12-15mg, but nicotine is a stimulant and 36mg is to my understanding quite a large dose. It's totally likely to keep you awake.
