Finally fixed my switch today. I had gotten some 1/4-28 brass bolts which it turns out don't actually fit the bottom button. The correct threading as mentioned in this thread is M6x0.75 and I realized that my 30pc Harbor Freight tap and die set actually has a die for this.
Was able to...
You can't completely get rid of voltage drop, and most of that drop is probably happening inside the battery, since all batteries have their own internal resistance. The more current you draw the more drop you will get.
I got got 1/4-28 brass bolt and tried it, it only threads about 1/2 turn before binding.
Did you re-tap the hole in your button for 1/4-28? I wouldn't think that would work out very well with the existing threads there.
It happens in both chrome and firefox browsers. The server is sending obviously malformed html as seen in the html source, nothing to do with the browser.
I looked on McMaster, Grainger and Fastenal websites and none seem to have M6-0.75. Standard M6 thread pitch is 1mm.
0.75mm pitch is exceedingly difficult to find.
You could maybe get a 6mm brass rod and thread it with a die though.

When I read posts of people that have attached images on this site, see a bunch of html code showing up in their post, and the first thumbnail is not clickable to view the full sized image. The remainder of the images in the post (if there are multiple) are clickable.
Here is one example...
Still haven't fired mine since I don't have batteries yet, but I don't understand how people are getting shocked from their mods at ~4V. That isn't enough voltage to get through the human skin resistance unless maybe you have open wounds all over your hands. The only possibility I can think is...
Thanks, I was worried about using a dremel cutoff wheel but I decided to man up and just go for it. Took a while but turned out ok. I also took to cutting up my rsst so the bottom bit sinks in to the tube.
With the lip of the bottom rsst piece ground off and the diameter shrunk down to fit...
Is anyone selling a sg-1 sort of piece besides fusionsmods? They are out of stock.
Alternatively, any tips on hacking the 19b nzonic cap into such a piece?
Well that's disturbing. I suppose maybe I should have verified on my own mod what the threading is. Maybe the different models all have different threading?
I was basing it off of this post specifically:
I have a 19b, I will post results when my screws come in if they fit or not.
Just a heads up for anyone who is looking for a replacement button post, based on the 1/4"-28 threading mentioned earlier in this thread, I found a part on mcmaster.com for them
McMaster part# 92941A564
brass hex cap screw, comes in a pack of 10
I ordered a pack.
Time to bust out my fancy calipers..
I currently have a RSST and Smoktech pyrex vivi nova. The opening diameter of each is 8.65mm
The drip tips that came with each are 30.17mm and 31.47mm from end to end(including the "shaft" that sinks inside the atomizer). I purchased some shorter...
You might be interested in a box mod. I have not tried one myself, but it seems like a nice discreet form factor to me, and I kinda wish I had gotten one after seeing a few. The innokin iTaste MVP seems like a reasonable well regarded choice which I might try in the future.

Mt baker vapor has been my go-to vendor lately. They have a ton of flavors, really nice prices, lightning fast shipping and every little thing is customizable (nicotine level, PG/VG ratio, extra shot of flavor).
Try some of their specialty blends. Of the ones I've tried lately my favorites...
I haven't used T3S, but as I understand its a bottom coil much like the protank of which I tried 3 of them. I had nothing but problems with them flodding/gurgling dripping fluid all over the battery and my pockets and popping droplets in my mouth. I tried rebuilding the coil with a bit thicker...
Forgot to mention a disclaimer: heating/boiling off acetone or rubbing alcohol produces flammable vapors so be sure to have proper ventilation and a fire extinguisher handy and be careful if you are thinking about doing something like that.
The delrin piece has a ledge on the bottom that keeps the brass cup from falling out(and in turn keeps the delrin from coming out if the brass post is still attached to the button). You have to unscrew the button from the brass cup in order to remove it. I was able to disassemble mine last...
Hello, ive been lurking and reading threads on this site for a few weeks but this is my first post here. I just picked up a sigelei 19b and rsst with the intent to turn it into a hybrid using something like fusions mods sg1 or the "sg-free" mod that I found in another thread here. I wanted to...
