My first experience in sub ohm vaping was on a Nimbus a few months into building coils... I used a multimeter, and didn't get any strange readings but my centerpost was definitely flamed looking after my coil. My guess is when the top cap went on I must have moved a coil and shorted somewhere...

I opened my first protank and set it up after cleaning it... when i installed the head, I removed the plastic cap over the wicks and have been getting monster vape hits with this... my question is simply, was I suppossd to leave that plastic cap on? if so, whats the purpose of that cap? thanks!
