    Aspire Spryte

The Spryte is regulated and puts out a constant 12W. No issues using the 1.2Ω (NS) coil on the Spryte at any point in the charge. Just food for thought - the constant power of this unit is why I chose it over the Breeze. As for me, I fell hard off the wagon and smoked for 6 straight months...

    squonking rocks!

The direction of the battery matters very much in case of a hard short event. Most squonk boxes want positive down, most have markings to say what way insert them, definitely follow those markings.

    squonking rocks!

These appear to be in direct contradiction of one another. Quickly, how will you reconcile this? ;) Squonking is the best, but I also wanted to say that I'm glad to hear you're happy with the plastic mod. I think more folks ought to come around to plastics for their mods. I love my woods and...

    Psyclone Mods Entheon discussion

I suspect they'll be mostly identical. The shorties only make a very small impact on things as compared to the stock cap, so from what I can see in the Hadeon caps, I'm betting just slightly wider or tighter airflow options at the extreme ends and little else... well, except maybe new leaking...

    Psyclone Mods Entheon discussion

Unusual response from Psyclone, especially since my package of shorties came with an Ultem option (Ultem, clear PMMA, and black and white Delrin). That said, get them. Really great caps, drops a ton of weight, and the reduced height is very nice for flavour. [EDIT] Didn't notice the airflow...

Mechs ohm laws wire choice is over whelming

Single coil, but that sucker is a fogger, make no mistake. This thread is frustrating. Wrap coils. Lots of them. Waste wire and wick. Build and build and build again, and when you dial something in, work at repeating it. This is not your first thread asking the same thing, you will succeed by...

I did not make the effort to catch up (30+ pages will do that), but I am home, and the B2K made it home alive! See you all more going ahead and @Walter_Sobchak, you have PM!

Will try to do this for you shortly, but good luck. If you're building a mod to accept this bottle, that's one thing, but if not, I know of no other enclosures rhay will support a bottle this large (especially square).

If it's working OK you're golden. Challenge will possibly be if you are NOT working as advertised. The switch should be solid for a good long time assuming it's working correctly. Don't futzing with things unless you have to. On that note, if you are experiencing issues, gimme a rundown and...

Why not just "Going Postal"? It's a well known cliche and it would offend any red blooded USPS worker.

Indeed, and thanks for the insight. Seems like a variant of Anna's reply, i.e. what you have works and there's no major pull to shake things up. I've just always been curious, partly because of bias (seriously, I can't stress enough how much I hate tanks), but mostly because I'm blind to any...

Best single coil rda for squonking?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting a reduced chamber MUST be present for good flavour, but I do think there is more to consider when running a mech. And it's not my intent to say anything negative about the Pulse22 (or the B2K), either - both are excellent atomizers at a good price. But...

Essentially, except "chuff cap" is kind of outmoded. Once that style of cap started to take off, the format solidified somewhat and (likely due to simple popularity), rested on the Goon's design (810). The first mainstream chuff cap I can remember was the Royal Hunter, and I believe it was...

Exactly. 810 refers to the outer diameter of the tip's base. You'll most likely have heard it referred to as a Goon-style (or Kennedy-style, or "grennedy") drip tip before. It's become a loose standard though, so 810 lets everyone avoid branding the format.

This will end up distracting from my question above, but since @jfcooley has one coming in maybe today, it needs to be said: the B2K is being marketed as an RSA very, very appropriately. This thing has the worst dripping deck I've ever used - to the degree that it seems absurd that a standard...

For you tank users in here that are already rebuilding, I'm curious about what's kept you from making the jump to squonking. I'm notoriously anti-tank for myriad reasons, but in my mind, the single most compelling reason to swap for tank users is simple and drastic height reduction (and thus...

There is literally no compelling reason to do otherwise. Consider for a moment that your hand can be a perfectly effective enclosure for your battery and atomizer with a little tape and a couple of quarters, and soon you start to wonder why you'd spend even a second on engineering when that time...

Expect to see this a lot more often. Proprietary switch designs seem to be the new thing now that bigger players are coming back to mechs for the squonk rush (side note, still unclear why the squonk resurgence seems to be coming with a mech resurgence). Warranty repair is big business for...
