I bought this one https://www.fasttech.com/products/1923808. This can protect the copper 510 threading. I am thinking on getting the V3 from FC. Been waiting for so long for this.
I had the sane issue with my first KF4 clone beside the famous #16 o ring problem. The 2 screws on the negative post holes are freely spinning, What I did was, I took a piece of 32 gauge kanthal and put it into the post hole and the problem fixed but I did order from FT the replacement deck though.
This one https://www.fasttech.com/products/2050300 and according to the tracking, it already arrived here and I am waiting it to be delivered to me within a day or two.

I bought some spares of teflon backup rings i.e #4 & #7. Instead of using the dimensions from the parts breakdown leaflet, the machinist made the perfect fit. Now the small wobbly from the base is gone. Also bought a stiffer spring and the connection is so much better just like backing down the...
I am not using any sleeve either. I am using the second method you had mentioned and it hit really hard. As I am a lung hitter so an airy draw is not a problem to me.
I bought 11 x 1.5mm NBR black o ring as well as 10.57 x 1.58mm. I am using the 11 x 1.5mm and not a single leak so far. I also bought some Teflon backup rings (#4 and #7) for spares.
I set mine at 2.5 ohms, 30 gauge kanthal, 8 wraps on 2,4mm bit and 10W on my Zero dna clone. It gives me great flavor, throat hit and a good vapor production.
