Yeah, I brought a bunch of DripBox 160's in from China along with Tsunami's and a bunch of other goodies. Too much vapor for most places but it's a great vape for the right place.
Exactly, you need a 2 mm Hex driver to tighten it in there but it takes just a couple minutes to unscrew the old one and screw in the new BF pin. I'm just saying that I've used it with the Tsunami, I haven't tried enough RDA's to say it's always replaceable, though that would make sense.
The Tsunami with the Fat Daddy Vapes BF RDA Replacement Contacts works great on my DripBox 160's. You'll want the 2.5 mm. Another which comes with the BF and standard pins is the Steamcrave Aromamizer V-RDA.
Their nicotine isn't bad. I just sampled some I picked up in May and it's good. That being said though, I got the Ultra Premium from them this week and it's worth the price difference if you're mixing flavors that are delicate. The nicotine odor/taste is up there with the best nic I've sampled...
Halo is a long time vendor that produces very professional quality juice. That being said, their juices tend to be idiosyncratic. Generally folks seems to love them or hate them. I seldom buy juice any more, since I mix my own but their Tribeca and Belgian Cocoa are must tries. Those juices I'll...
Pretty evenly balanced around here between the sexes for vaping. The hobby seems more a guy thing, most of the women I've run into just want something easy to use that works. I've run into a fair number of women with mechs and rebuildables but they seem to be in the minority.
I really like the Bellus, the Bachelor, the Moonshot, and a few others. How about narrowing the field of play a bit. Are you a mouth to lung vaper? Do you want large capacity? Are 24-25mm devices of interest? Are you going to be carrying it around a lot? There are a lot of great tanks out there...
No, something other than the flavors is wrong with this picture. I think the LorAnn will tend to be a bit more concentrated but not nearly enough to make up for what you're reporting. Steeping in general is over-rated. It's useful in some creams and tobacco flavors but not really in a fruit...
Oh, and no, I wouldn't put water in a mix personally. Some folks mix with it and swear by it but I've compared the same e-juice with and without water in it and the watered version will turn black over time. Not sure exactly what's happening there but I don't want it in my lungs.
I've been mixing for years. There's a rule of thumb that about 20% is the maximum amount of flavor you want to add but that is subject to different vendors having different concentrations. Generally I am under 10% in my flavorings these days but I also use gear that's solid in the flavor...
It could be that your taste buds are sub-par from smoking. They'll come back in time. Most of the commercial juices out there are mixed strongly enough that they come through loud and clear even for a smoker so that really doesn't strike me as the culprit.
What kind of wattages are you using...
I love my Marquis RDA's and am interested in how you did the conversion for bottom feed. Was that just using a FDV bottom feeder pin or did it require more work?
Have they sealed the leather in some way? Very interested in this but being it's a mod, ejuice can leak and grubby fingers can get it dirty, I'm curious about how durable that finish will be.
I had the same issue with coils some time ago. The juices I liked, killed coils fast. I switched to RBAs, both drippers and tanks and couldn't be happier. It was far too expensive constantly changing coils. Now I usually dry burn and rework daily and get great results.
Button tops aren't available from the factories. Normally someone has to buy the stock batteries and then mod them to add the nipple in. So, they're more expensive. Their real purpose is polarity protection and most regulated mods have that built in to the chip today. So it's an extra cost...
