    I've been making my coils on a 2/56 machine screw (makes a perfect coil) 6 wraps give me 2.4 - 2.5 ohms and 5 wraps give me about 1.8 ohms. Up until now, I've been successfully wicking by pulling one doubled over piece of 1mm silica wicks thru the coils. Here's my problem and question if...

    This may be a dumb question, but please humor me ... is the AW IMR battery a Lithium-ion battery? The XTAR WPII 2 clearly says it's only for Lithium-ion batteries. Just wanted to clear that up in my own mind since I'm confused about IMR chemistry designation.

    Kanger Protank Flavor Wicks

    I re-build my KangerTech ProTank heads with 32ga Kanthal 6 wraps onto a 2-56 machine screw (makes a perfect coil) then two 1mm silica rope wicks thru the coil and two 1mm wicks on top of the coil ("flavor wicks"). Works great - no gurgling, plenty of vape, and tightens up the draw somewhat.

    Cliven -- I've tried so many tanks on top of Ego batteries in my 60 days of vaping (wish I had that money back). Recently bought a KangerTech ProTank and it's the one I'm most satisfied with. Highly recommend it.
