My VK started having a hard draw and was getting stuck on --when I stopped drawing it didn't shut off. I tried cleaning it with a q-tip, alcohol, a toothpick, and air-in-a-can, and now it only turns on when I draw without a cart. Anyone have any tips on fixing this? Is this kind of thing covered...

I just tested one and got between 3.1 and 3.2 ohms. Does that make sense? I set the multimeter to 200ohm and the display moved back and forth between 3.1 and 3.2. I'm not 100% sure I did it right, I have only really used it for voltage before.

For driving I recommend a USB-passthrough, no switching batteries and you can plug it in to your car (I have a usb port in my car but you can get a car cigarette lighter to usb converter). Edit: Sorry, didn't realize this was an old thread.

You can get an adapter from AltSmoke.com. They only last between 3-20 refills approx. but they are cheaper than 510 attys. They also hold more juice than a 510 cart. Definitely worth checking out, they're much better on-the-go and I like them at home to. Haven't touched my 510 in 2 weeks now...

I doubt it, the reason solder has lead it to help it melt at a lower temperature (I believe). So not only would it be unhealthy but it would make attys die quicker.
