    Dear Abby hates E-Cigs!

Hi! I’ve been vaping for over 3 years now and proud to be tobacco free. Did anyone else read today’s “Dear Abby” column? I’m furious! In short, a reader was asking about the possibility of getting harmful secondhand vaping-smoke from her co-workers. Her response? “You don’t have anything...

    Blatant appeal for encouragement

Hi LoBoTex! Thanks for your post. You are so right about the "One Day at a Time" thing. That's how I've made it to Day 7 analog free! First day or so was the hardest. From all that I've read, I think if I even TRIED an analog at this point, it would make me feel so sick (physically), that I...

Cold turkey - whoa!! You are a brave soul. Been there, done that - tough way to go. I think you'll like the Joye 510 a lot!! It's what I use and it has saved my life! Best of luck to you and especially your wife!!! Thanks for the post!

WOO HOO! Today marks 7 days without an analog!!! I think I'm home free baby!!! Still get little "tags" in my head for a real smoke, but I just ignore those and vape-up with some 24mg and I get through it.

Very interesting! First time I've heard about this (but then again in live in Ohio - where us cornfield folk are - ha!) I'll give it a try. Thanks for the post!

    Blatant appeal for encouragement

I'm now finishing up my 4th day tobacco/analog-free!!! I'm so excited! Had a very stressful day but managed to stay away from grabbing an analog. I figured, if I made it this far, why should I ruin it by setting myself back with a poisoness cigarette. Just wanted to give myself a pat on the...

MaryKay - you are from St. Cloud, Florida? Cool - my dear cousin is the Harbor Master of Tampa Bay! I've been down your neck of the woods - it is so beautiful there! I would love to live there someday!

Hi Mary Kay! Thank you for your kind response! Yes, you are right about putting the analogs far from reach. I put my remaining 1/2 pack in the garage - ha! So I try to avoid going outside and that seems to help too. Thanks also for the Women's Room link - I'll give that a try. - KathyB

Hi Moonflame - thanks for your comments - very helpful! I am not into World of Warcraft or anything, but I get your drift! LOL I placed my remaining 1/2 pack of analogs in the GARAGE...so I just don't go outside to keep myself away from them. So you are right....laziness works - ha!

Porphy - i like your positive attitude and the attainable goal idea. Others, like you, have mentioned about the inhale/exhale concept and at first I wasn't successful because I was vaping too fast like I would with an analog. Thanks for your help!!! KathyB

Hey Ryle! - I like the ticker idea - when I get 15 posts, then the "forum" will allow me to install one. That was heartening to hear you had a few first couple of days too. Since I'm now at the end of my 2nd day off analogs, I think I can make it! I feel better already, much to my amazement...

Hi MaryJo - Wow - i loved your story - thanks for sharing it. As of right now, I am finishing up my 2nd day analog free!! Yesterday morning I just decided to go "cold turkey". I spent the whole day on the couch popping bubble wrap, vaping my e-cig, and running to the computer every few...

Hi BoredoftheWorld! You are just too funny! I almost peed my pants reading your message! It's a long story, but my hubby & I started calling each other "Moopy" long ago when we were dating in order to get our teenagers (from previous marriages) ticked off and to leave us alone. Moopy is...

Hi Eli! Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement. Sure..I'd love to have a personal chat sometime. I am now finishing up my 2nd day totally off analogs and already feel better. I had been going back & forth between the tobacco (5-6 cigarettes/day) and the e-cigs for over a...

Hi RazorNRibbonz! Thank you so much for your message of encouragement. Yes indeed, this forum is very helpful, I'm finding out. It is the funniest thing, but yesterday I decided to just go analog-free and spent the whole day on the couch popping bubble wrap and vaping my 510, in between...

Hi Verdana! Thank you for your input! We are using the "510" with 24mg liquid. It is the funniest thing, but my first 24 hours off analogs, I sat on the couch all day popping bubble wrap and vaping with my 510. In between, I was on the computer. These got me through, and I'm now finishing up...
