So I am looking at ordering a provari, but I want the larger 18650 batteries they offer, and they are pretty expensive through the site. Will any 18650 battery work in the mod? Do I have to use the batteries they sell?

I stack two RCR123A 3V batteries in it. I'm not quite sure how I'd get the air hole bigger, no access to a drill or anything.

I'm using a Bolt. The air hole is lined up with the wick, I wasn't aware that the coils aren't supposed to light up when it's actually vaping, I thought they were! Does that mean I need more wraps, or tighter wraps? I get air flow, and I get vapor, just not the clouds I envisioned.

I just don;t understand how I get so little vapor off this genesis. I'm following everything to my knowledge. The coil heats evenly when I pulse it, using 32ga kanthal.

I use steel mesh, and it seems if I wrap something at like 4 ohms (which should be optimal for single coil), I get little vapor, but if I wrap something around 2, it ends up tasting burnt and horrible. I'm not sure if I need to get better at wrapping, or if I'm doing something wrong here.

You make a very good point, but at the same time, I've found it extremely difficult to get a lot of vapor production from the AGA T2 using my 6V mod. Perhaps it would be worthwhile to get something VV, or at least with a lower voltage?
