Got a question!!! There any DIY for The Standard's Curious George??

Hey I am building micro coils now, I keep getting a weird tasting hit, im not sure if its burnt or dry. What should I do? I used 28g kenthal and Eokwool with flavor wicks from a stock head. My ohms came out to 1.1 with 8 wraps. Do I need more wraps? Different wire? Idk which.

Oh what size eokwool are use of said product using? I got 1mm and it is a lot smaller than 3mm silica. Feed back and tips please!

I wrap mine with a needle as a spacer and it works great. Did you untwist the silica after getting it in? It helps a lot with the wicking. Another thing is i flipped the rubber grommet over so it is pointing up and it helped to not restrict the slow. Another wick you may want to try is eokwool...

Thanks Cliffy ill do that from now on. I wasn't too sure before now. Usually i cant tell the flavor anymore after a day anyway but maybe with a little torching i will. I will let you know of the results on my next build

I read somewhere to oxidize the kenthal wire and silica wick before vaping. Is this something that should be done at all times??

I have found if you flip the rubber grommet thats on the post above the wicks upside down it elements the burnt taste you may get pretty well. Also prevents air bubbles forming around your wicks which I have found cause it to leak and of course make it have a burnt taste. My rubber grommet in...
