Arizona Call to Action: HB 2648

Absolutely. Want to give kids guaranteed easy access to shady products, do a total ban. I'll give an example with children in another context(no I'm not going there). When and Tango Makes Three was banned from Gibbs Elementary in Rochester, New York the interest in the book sky rocketed...

Arizona Call to Action: HB 2648

Yeah well this is about NOW. The FDA stuff is much further down the pipeline, so that doesn't justify inaction. Are they trying to advertise to children or are they trying to capture the nostalgia of foods from the past that self respecting adults no longer eat? Are the colors on bottles...

Arizona Call to Action: HB 2648

Steve, I am really puzzled by your position. The problem that we had with this bill was that the legal framework was vague and the punishments are high. This bill was pushed from a seat of piety without perspective. The American Cancer Society was not for this bill either when we had talked with...

Arizona Call to Action: HB 2648

It is not dead until April, but NAVB has made some serious progress. The last battle was on 2/19 and the bill was amended and assigned to a special committee at the end of the day. The bill was killed before it hit the floor to be heard. My girlfriend and I are both vapers, own small...

    More progress in Phoenix

There were a lot of high emotions, gallows humor, uncertainty, and high stakes on the drive out to the Arizona state capitol. Members of NAVB came together on 2/19/2015 to make their presence felt and their voices heard regarding HB2648. Members of SFATA were also there in opposition of the...

    Porous ceramic orchid v4 build

The dual coil definitely makes up for the slight lag. With that small of a piece there isn't too much of a difference in ramp. Not sure if you caught it, but it takes a while to gunk it up if you have proper contact. This is a very low upkeep build once you have it dialed in.

    Porous ceramic orchid v4 build

.4ohms, 6 wraps of 25Ga, dual coil with porous Aluminum Oxide(Ceramic) wicking. Those wicks aren't perfect by any means or perfect twins, but the results are impressive none the less. I did this with needle files by hand since I needed new dremel bits. The wicks in this picture are 3rd gen and...

    Progress in Phoenix!

NAVB – Small Business Day at the Capitol I had the great pleasure of going to the Capitol building, as a guest of NAVB, for small business day today. NAVB is an organization comprised of small to medium sized business owners in the vaping community who organize their efforts and resources...

    Longest Lasting Wick for RDA?

For tanks I prefer the bon AO(porous ceramic) wicks. I built a real nice dual coil orchid 4 with little bar wicks that touch hemp or cotton at the ends to prevent the flood. 25Ga, 7 wraps Ea, 0.4ohms. . The cutting work isn't the nicest, but hey I did it with dull needle files. That is...

E-Cigarette flavoring for kids + my journalistic retaliation(AZ)

This article is from the ASU State press. Here's the original article in all it's terrible entirety: E-cig market lacks public disclaimers, advertising to youth By Becca Smouse March 17, 2014 at 6:02 pm Thanks to our commercialized society, new products are constantly being pushed onto and...

    The Anti cotton 1%

perhaps it's just a break in thing, but I have to keep it really wet or else I get some funk. The fat wire sustains higher temps, when I pull the cotton out there's still vapor coming off of it. compared with XC, cotton can't take heat the same.

    How low can you go!

Is that cotton sir, that is cheating too.

    The Anti cotton 1%

I'm not 100% anti cotton, but I definitely don't prefer using it. If I am going to use a soft fibrous wick I use hemp fiber and this isn't all that often because......ceramic for the win. Solid ceramic for tanks and ceramic fiber for drippers. Silica blows, ekowool sucks, cotton is alright and...

    Whats your wick of choice?

For drippers I use XC-116 and for gennies and my Russian I use porous ceramic(bon 60 grit). I used to be all about the drippers, but lately this Russian build is giving me the best vape and preforms best throughout the life of my battery on the mech. Between the 26Ga wire, the solid ceramic, and...

where do you coil your ceramic wick at.

I've done braided 30 Ga and braided 28 Ga which is more like a pliable flat wire compared to my 24Ga. That worked well, but I ended up just taking the center post off my RSST and hot wrapping the 24 while on the atty. The bon in my V11 is nice. Maybe because it has such a deep well and sits in...

where do you coil your ceramic wick at.

In my RSST and my v11 dripper I have it wrapped with 24Ga at .5 and .6 ohms. There's some play in the wick hole on the RSST and I take the fill plug out. I tilt it 180 to wet it and slowly bring it back to 45 while firing. Great flavor and warmth, only downside is I can vape through 3ml in an...

    xc-116 nextel ceramic wick/sleeve

not exactly the same, but I had good luck with the fogger using straight 116 and a nice 1.3 ohm hand wrap. Best part about the fogger I had was the ability to open the chimney by twisting the glass so I could get maximum flavor density without flooding it. I had that wick for nearly the entire...

    22 Ga Kanthal

http://i.imgur.com/sPrRO32.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Ki3rF6J.jpg First pic is of the build, second is of the forced patina on my brass center tube. I'd imbed it, but the image resolution was way too big. But yeah thats 22 Ga not .22, this is that real vaper clip wire. 6 wraps on an 1/8" bit with...
