Do any of you do a spring bypass and solder a 22ga piece of wire or a strip of solder braid on the inside of the spring...if the current flows thru the wire/braid and not thru the spring it won't collapse due to heating up the spring

+1 on this...let it steep a bit otherwise the pecan has that flavor where you don't get all the husk off and get that bitter bleh aftertaste (very very mild but if you let it sit a bit it goes away and is sweeeeeeeeet)

I got my stainless "The Natural" to fit a 18650 and a kick, bought a 2nd tube extender removed the short tube, now have 2x long extensions and viola!

Opened it up...hosed out the little PCB and switch (it had gotten saturated with juice) with 91% rubbing alcohol...let it dry for a few minutes...reassembled and viola
