i don't know how it would effect extraction process, but those Drew estate cigars you mentioned are infused with flavors. The tobaccos are very light to begin with. If you want to extract just pure tobacco from a drew estate product you should look into the liga privada line, or the undercrown...

i bought v2 several years ago. My only problem with them was the lag time between ordering and recieving the order. It sometimes took a week before they even shipped the order...
